Master Pump Station 308 Force Main

This project consists of the installation of a new pressurized wastewater pipeline, known as a force main. The new force main is associated with Master Pump Station 308, located near Francis Avenue and Airport-Pulling Road, and will provide additional resiliency, operational flexibility, and capacity to improve reliability and meet projected demands throughout the area.

Construction will take place from the end of June 2019 and is anticipated for completion by April 2020.

What to expect: Construction will typically be conducted in phases Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; however, some weekend and after hours work may be required, as needed. The work will be performed in the right of way and County Utility Easement (CUE) and utilize a combination of open cut and underground drilling to install the new pipeline. If necessary, the contractor, Quality Enterprises, USA, Inc., may temporarily block access to driveways to perform the work; if your property will be impacted, a member of the project team will notify you with more details.

Although construction equipment, noise, and traffic pattern changes are expected, every effort will be made to minimize inconveniences. Should temporary road closures occur, flaggers and/or safety signs will be present to assist drivers and pedestrians through the work zone. Interruption to your utility services is not anticipated; however, should it occur, the project team will work to restore service quickly.

Throughout the length of the project, please remember to stay a safe distance from construction areas and discourage children from playing in or around materials and equipment.
