BASIN 306 NEIGHBORHOOD PUMP STATIONS REHABILITATION – GROUP 1, GROUP 2 AND GROUP 3

This project is divided into three phased efforts with design and construction occurring over the next four years. Construction is expected to follow the schedule below:

  • Group 1 and Group 2 commenced on May 22, 2017 (includes 18 pump stations)
  • Group 3 is scheduled to begin as soon as necessary easements are obtained – (includes 9 pump stations)

There are 27 wastewater pump stations within Wastewater Basin 306. In general, mechanical equipment associated with pump stations has a useful life of 20-25 years. The County is in the process of replacing pump station components, as well as enhancing stations to meet the most current standards for these facilities. Rehabilitation work includes replacement of all mechanical and electrical equipment, protective lining of the wet wells and site improvements. This major rehabilitation is necessary to ensure a continued high level of utility service for the community.

As the phases and specific pump station improvements are identified, this website will be updated to include anticipated schedules for construction.
