US 41 NORTH WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PHASE 2 PROJECT
This project consists of replacement of an aging water main along US 41, Tamiami Trail, between Immokalee Road and 91st Avenue North. The project will improve the reliability of the water main servicing Naples Park and surrounding communities. The new water main will be installed by means of open cut, pipe bursting, and horizontal directional drilling. This project has an estimated duration of 200 calendar days. Please note that some work for this project will need to take place at night. The schedule for night work has not been determined yet, but advance notice to affected stakeholders will be provided via phone, email, and this website. PROJECT PROGRESS UPDATE
January 6, 2021
Contractor addressed substantial completion punchlist items consisting of site clean-up, placing sod; addressing concrete cracks on curbs and sidewalk; leveling of gate valve pads; asphalt patching along 102nd Avenue North; and lowering sod adjacent to fire hydrants. The Final Completion walkthrough was performed on January 5, 2021, and during the walkthrough the EOR and CEI identified a few warranty items that will be addressed by the Contractor in the following days.
