108th and 109th AVENUE NORTH PUBLIC UTILITY RENEWAL PROJECT

This project is part of the Naples Park Utility Renewal Project and includes the removal and replacement of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure that services residents and businesses along 108th and 109th Avenues North between Tamiami Trail and Vanderbilt Drive. As part of the improvements, the contractor will be replacing water and wastewater service lines. Clay wastewater pipe laterals from the property will be replaced with new PVC pipe. This work may need to take place on private property and permission from the owner will be necessary. Stormwater collection and treatment system rehabilitation work will take place in the right of way. This project will also improve the ability to collect wastewater from Basin 101 for conveyance to the treatment facility to prevent overflows and ensure a continued high level of wastewater service to the community.

PROJECT PROGRESS UPDATE
November 30, 2022

All water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure has been completed on 108th and 109th Avenue. Also, all restoration work has been completed and the final layer of asphalt has been placed on both avenues.

A final completion walkthrough was held with Contractor and Collier County personnel to document final punch list items, and Contractor worked on addressing these items in the last few weeks. The project is now complete.
