US 41 NORTH WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PHASE 2 PROJECT

This project consists of replacement of an aging water main along US 41, Tamiami Trail, between Immokalee Road and 91st Avenue North. The project will improve the reliability of the water main servicing Naples Park and surrounding communities. The new water main will be installed by means of open cut, pipe bursting, and horizontal directional drilling. This project has an estimated duration of 200 calendar days. Please note that some work for this project will need to take place at night. The schedule for night work has not been determined yet, but advance notice to affected stakeholders will be provided via phone, email, and this website. PROJECT PROGRESS UPDATE
September 16, 2020

Contractor potholed existing utilities along US-41, installed HDPE water main in front of #9501, #9503, #9565 and #9577 Tamiami Trail, installed fire hydrant assembly at #9465 Tamiami Trail, removed existing sanitary manhole in front of #9565 Tamiami Trail, and performed roadway restoration at the intersections of US-41 with 95th Avenue North. Contractor anticipates continuing open cut and of the new water main along US 41 through October 2020.
